Poppy Cottage Garden
An inspirational plantsman’s garden, one acre of individual garden rooms with central lawns, colour themed borders, effusive planting and sunny nooks in which to bask. Beds and borders densely planted with unusual shrubs, herbaceous plants, grasses and bulbs. Small orchard and wildlife area with unusual chickens.
The Garden is situated on the spine of the Roseland within thick hedges to protect from the weather. Many plants from South Africa, Australia and Europe thrive here.
Poppy Cottage Garden is home to The Flower Bulb Company, bulbs for sale in season.
Plant sales and refreshments. Please see website for opening times, March to October.
