Just a few miles outside Truro, deep in the beautiful Roseland countryside, you’ll find the Kings Head in the tiny hamlet of Ruan Lanihorne.

At the head of the Fal River and close to the magical Lamorran Woods this is a traditional country pub with a warm welcome, beamed ceilings, great beers and an imaginative menu.

Winter time sees roaring fires, friendly ambience and a comfy sofa, a choice of winter warming dishes to make you feel cosy with perhaps a glass of mulled wine.

Summertime, in the late afternoon sunshine or a lunchtime on the terrace, under the trees with a jug of pimms is just the job, maybe with a plate of langoustines or scallops that have been caught that afternoon.
