St Mawes to St Anthony Head

St Anthony Head looks out over Falmouth Bay and the Carrick Roads, this ideal viewing spot is great for a picnic!


The route is roughly 9 miles if you follow the road around and takes about 2 hours at a gentle pace.

Once at St Anthony Head you can head down to the Place Ferry and cruise back to St Mawes, please check sailing times before you depart.

Did you know St Anthony's Head lighthouse was built in 1835 and then automated in 1987. It has a light range of 22 miles and guides ships safely into the Carrick Roads.
