Fal River Partners

Welcome to Fal River Cornwall - one of the most successful private-sector led marketing partnerships in the country.

We love this part of the world and that's why we spend a lot of time, money and energy promoting the Fal River and its surrounds to potential visitors around the world, as well as encouraging the local community to make the most of what's on their doorstep.

Every year we produce three free guide books - the Fal River Area Guide Book, the Falmouth Guide and the Truro Guide. More than 200,000 of these are printed every year and distributed across Cornwall and throughout the UK.

We run two festivals that have been designed to boost visitor numbers in the shoulder months - the Fal River Festival and the Fal River Autumn Walking Festival. As well as having their own websites, each festival also has a printed programme which again is distributed throughout Cornwall.

In 2011 we took over the running of the Fal River Visitor Information Centre on the Prince of Wales Pier in Falmouth and have worked extremely hard to ensure the long term sustainability of this vital resource for the area.

Alongside all of this, we operate the Fal Mussel Card and the ferry network that links the Fal River. We run the King Harry Ferry, the St Mawes Ferry, Enterprise Boats, the Place Ferry and Falmouth's Park & Float service.

This is a truly wonderful area that is made even better by you - the accommodation providers, attractions, cafes, restaurants, pubs, activity providers, theatres, gardens and art galleries.
